About Us

QUILTER’S PANTRY IS A LONGARM QUILTING SERVICE COMPANY AND GROWING INTO SEW MUCH MORE. We take pride in our work and will treat you, our customers, and your quilts with the love and care we would expect to receive.

OUR LOCATION
Quilter’s Pantry is located in Northeast Tennessee. We are currently in Jonesborough, the oldest town in TN and the home to The National Story Telling Festival. Beautiful mountains rise behind us and we are blessed with its beauty all year round.

HOW WE GOT OUR START
My Mother was a seamstress, my Dad was artistic so all my life I was surrounded by fabric and creativity. At the age of ten I helped my mother make a queen size quilt from all the scraps of fabrics she had used to make our clothes. One side was all wools and tweeds; the other side was all cotton fabrics. It was the “Around the World” Pattern and tied. I still own the quilt.

Fast forward through our life of retail, merchandising, business and customer service work and a variety of crafts, hobbies and creativity. My husband has two aunts and a cousin who are quilters. His cousin is a longarmer. Through our contacts in the quilting/fabric world we found a need in this area and around the country for long arm quilting services.

We did a lot of research. We tested a variety of machines and chose the one that operated the best, has one of the best reputations in the industry as well as the best customer service reps we had met.

Thanks to the many people who offered suggestions and gave us input. With this…
Quilter’s Pantry was formed.

WHAT QUILTER’S PANTRY DOES

LONGARMING:
We machine quilt your quilt tops. Our machine can handle wall hangings, small baby quilts up to the large queen and king size quilts. We have a computer driven longarm machine which allows you to choose from many different patterns to fit the theme and style of your quilt. We also do free motion quilting. If you have a certain design in mind, chances are we have it or something very similar or can find or make it for you. We often will do a combination of computer design and free motion for a complete specialized quilt.

We are firm believers that great customer service is what it is all about. We will pass on that great service to you.

QUILTER’S PANTRY LONGARM MACHINE WITH COMPUTER SYSTEM
We do our work with the Nolting 20” Fun Quilter on a 12’ steel frame with the computer system, Side Saddle™. The Nolting long arm machines are proudly made right here in the United States. We currently have over 100 patterns in the system and unlimited patterns available.

QUILT MAKING:

If you would love to have a quilt, but aren’t a quilter, we can help. We either already have one for sale that will fit your need, or we can discuss what design you would like us to make for you.  We also design quilts so if you have a theme or idea of what you would like, we can even design it just for you!

QUILTS  AND MORE FOR SALE:

We also have quilts, wall hangings, table runners available for sale here on this site, at local establishments, and on etsy.
